All of our parrots are on a human grade non coloured pellet diet as well as fresh and cooked fruits, vegetables, cous cous, bean mixtures...etc Babies are fed 'Zupreem Embrace Plus' handfeeding formula then weaned onto the same pellet diet.
Babies are pulled from the nest for handfeeding at about 10 days to 14 days old then handfed until they are ready to wean, I will NEVER force wean any baby no matter how long it takes! They let me know when they are ready to wean.  Also, no baby leaves here until they are fully weaned--I will NOT sell an unweaned baby. It is a myth that handfeeding forms a bigger bond with parrots and owners, all you need to do is make sure you spend a lot of time with him/her and handle them as much as you can to form a very strong bond with your parrot.

Our parrots are misted daily and given baths weekly.  Not only is it good for their feathers and skin, it helps to reduce the dust and down in the air--A great thing to do if you have alergies too.  The parrots love it!!

They are handled, talked to and played with daily and all get their out of cage time everyday to play, exercise and interact with us as well as the other parrots, this also helps the parrots to remain happy, healthy and very tame.
They receive all the attention they can handle and live here with our family as part of the family until they are ready to go to their new homes! They will be very well socialized with other parrots, cages, people as well as dogs (I have 4) and children (I have 4) and introduced to different sounds like vaccuum, etc...so they will not be too afraid when you introduce your new baby to his/her new home.  They should also be used to wing & nail clippings and baths as well.

Almost all of them should already know the step-up command as well by the time you take him/her home. I start using the 'step-up' command when handfeeding or any time I pick them up, so by the time they are ready to start weaning and go into a cage most know what to do when I say step-up.

Before you purchase any parrot, please inform yourself completely.  There is a tonne of information available on the internet.  Each parrot is completely different and each have different needs and behaviours so please make sure you know what you are getting into before you make a purchase.  You also need to make sure the parrot fits your lifestyle as well, for instants if you live in an apartment building, you are going to want to make sure you choose a fairly quiet parrot, or if you work long hours you should not choose an umbrella cockatoo or an african grey for example as they require a lot of attention.  Most parrots live an extremely long life so please read and ask questions before you make the descision. This will also help to ensure parrots are not constantly re-homed, which is very common but it is one of the worst things for a parrot.

I am willing to help anyone find information if you are having dificulties finding information on a specific parrot--It is heart breaking to see parrots constantly being re-homed or not cared for properly, so please email me with any questions at all and I will help you the best I can even if it is not one of my babies you are purchasing, and hopefully this will help prevent more parrots from being re-homed from mis-informed parrot owners. But just remember, I can only offer you my oppinion so also try to ask other breeders and professional avian vets your questions as well.
